WINSTON-SALEM, NC – HC Government Realty Trust Inc. (“HCGRT”), today announced the appointment of Michael Worrell to the position of Senior Associate. This appointment supports HCGRT’s expansion into pursuing the development of Built-to-Suit and Renovate -to -Suit properties for the U.S. Government.  

Chief Operating Officer John W. Braswell added the following statement to today’s announcement:

“During the past 5 years, Michael has played a critical role with the GSA Development Team that is now part of HCGRT. Michael will utilize his many years of experience to assist with acquisitions by identifying GSA leased assets conforming to HCGRT’s investment strategy. His oversight of HCGRT’s CRM database will play a vital role in managing relationships, retention of historical data, lead generation and project tracking. Everyone at HCGRT is excited he has joined the platform to support our next phase of growth and the long-term goals of the Company.”

HCGRT’s real estate portfolio currently includes 27 properties representing approximately 508,000 rentable square feet across 12 different agencies located in 18 states.
