WINSTON-SALEM, NC – HCGRT is pleased to announce the acquisition of an existing building in Boise, ID to be renovated-to-suit for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) agency. With a 20-year term, 15-year firm lease commencing upon completion, this 12,500 square foot facility will be customized to support the day-to-day activities of USCIS and will include state of the art finishes and security systems. The project is in the planning stages with construction documents nearing completion. Construction is estimated to begin in June 2022 with a tentative agency occupancy date of December 1, 2022.

Chief Operating Officer John W. Braswell added the following statement to today’s announcement:

“The award of the USCIS project in Boise, ID demonstrates HCGRT’s commitment to develop renovate-to-suit, long term, federally leased facilities. This location, in the Pacific Northwest, highlights HCGRT’s ability to develop properties across the entire United States. We are honored to support USCIS in their mission to provide services to future citizens of the United States.”

HCGRT’s real estate portfolio currently includes 27 properties representing approximately 508,000 rentable square feet across 12 different agencies located in 18 states.
