HC Government Realty Trust, Inc. Announces Additional Team Member for Development of GSA Properties, Appointment of Chris Darling as Director of Design and Construction

WINSTON-SALEM, NC – HC Government Realty Trust Inc. (“HCGRT”), today announced the appointment of Chris Darling to the position of Director of Design and Development. This appointment supports HCGRT’s dedication to the nationwide development of Built-to-Suit and Renovate -to -Suit properties for the U.S. Government.  

Chief Operating Officer John W. Braswell added the following statement to today’s announcement:

“Our development team has had the pleasure of working with Chris on several of our development projects over the years in his prior role as senior project manager with HITT Contracting. We recognized Chris’ dedication, skillset, organization, and expertise with the GSA processes during the successful completion of each GSA project in which he has been involved. He has extensive experience in the construction of complex, high security, law enforcement facilities. Chris will be responsible quality control, scheduling, and budgeting for all of our projects. The addition of Chris reinforces HCGRT’s dedication to developing high quality assets for GSA and the occupying agency - both on time and on budget.”

HCGRT’s real estate portfolio currently includes 27 properties representing approximately 508,000 rentable square feet across 12 different agencies located in 18 states.
